Our commitment

We want every visitor to be able to read this site and contact us, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings. Accessibility is treated as part of the build, not an afterthought.

What we have done

• Semantic HTML structure with a single H1 per page and a logical heading order.
• A visible "skip to content" link as the first focusable element on every page.
• Text and background colour combinations checked against WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios.
• All interactive elements reachable and operable by keyboard, with visible focus outlines.
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; decorative images marked as such.
• Form fields with permanently associated labels rather than placeholder-only hints.
• Animations disabled automatically for visitors whose system requests reduced motion.
• Layout that reflows to a single column and remains usable at 200 per cent zoom.

Standard we aim for

We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We are not claiming certified conformance; we test with keyboard navigation, browser zoom and screen-reader spot checks, and we fix what we find.

Known limitations

Some resource articles contain data tables that require horizontal scrolling on very narrow screens. We are working to improve this.
